The one thing to remember
Amedi never asks for your password, a verification code, or a payment over WhatsApp, phone, text message or social media.
If someone does so claiming to be from Amedi, it is a fraud. Do not reply, do not pay, and report it.
How we actually contact you
We use only these channels, and only from these addresses and domains:
-
Email: soporte@amedisalud.com and addresses ending in
@amedisalud.com. -
Amedi websites:
-
amedisalud.com -
consultorio.amedisalud.com -
admin.amedisalud.com -
api.amedisalud.com -
WhatsApp: not yet available. Any other number presenting itself as «Amedi support» is not ours.
-
Instagram: only the account linked from the footer of this page.
Before typing a password, check the address bar: the domain must end exactly in
amedisalud.com. amedisalud.com.co, amedi-salud.com or amedisalud.net
are not us.
Signs that you are being scammed
- They rush you: «your appointment will be cancelled in 10 minutes unless you pay».
- They ask you to pay a third party, a personal account, or through a link that is not inside your appointment on Amedi.
- They ask for your password, the code sent to you by SMS or email, or that you install an app to «verify your account».
- They offer a discount in exchange for paying outside the platform.
- A «doctor» contacts you from a private number offering consultations without an appointment.
- The message carries a shortened link, or a domain similar to but not identical to ours.
How payment works on Amedi
The consultation fee is received by the professional, through the methods they publish on their own profile (Pago Móvil, bank transfer, Zelle or others). From your appointment's payment link you register the reference and the receipt, and the practice confirms it. Altiora Tech, C.A. does not process card payments, does not hold funds and will never ask you to pay into an Amedi account.
If someone asks you to transfer «to Amedi», it is not Amedi.
Impersonation of professionals
A profile on Amedi carrying the verified badge went through the licence and identity checks described in How we verify. Outside Amedi, anyone can use a doctor's name and photo.
If you find a profile, an account or an advert — inside or outside Amedi — that impersonates a professional, report it even if you are not the person being impersonated.
What to do if something looks wrong
- Do not reply and do not pay. Keep the message, a screenshot, and the sender's number or address.
- Do not click the link. If you already did and typed your password, change it immediately on Amedi and anywhere else you use the same one.
- Report it at Report a problem or write to soporte@amedisalud.com. You get an acknowledgement number, and we review the case within 6 hours for illegal or hateful content and within 72 hours otherwise.
- If money was lost, report it to the competent authorities and to your bank as well.
How to protect your account
- Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
- Do not share your video-consultation link or your payment link with anyone.
- Sign out on devices that are not yours.
- Check your appointments from the app, not from a link in a message you were not expecting.
